Monte Anderson is the President of Options Real Estate a multi-service real estate company specializing creating financially sustainable neighborhoods in and around Dallas where he was born and raised. His development practice is focused in three areas in North Texas: the southern neighborhoods of the city of Dallas, the first ring suburb of Duncanville and exurban town of Midlothian.
He is most widely known for the redevelopment for the renovation of the historic Belmont Hotel, a 68-room boutique hotel, café and spa in the Oak Cliff area of Dallas. Through dozens of partnerships with owner-occupied entrepreneurs, he has revitalized the neighborhood around the Belmont and also along the one story Main Street in Duncanville. Monte is also incrementally building a 131-acre mixed-use, walkable neighborhood over a 20+ year period in MidTowne Midlothian. This lot by lot development will extend the fabric of the existing small town to connect schools, parks, and small retail buildings with multigenerational housing. Monte is a co-founder and Real Estate Course Director of the Incremental Development Alliance.
